Realization or Making Lemonade out of Lemons

I just recently read gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson. I really must say that she has inspired me, to attempt to pen my own novel.
I must say that the Lord blessed me greatly with a paternal family straight out of some of the wildest southern fiction that you could ever imagine. No really, they are to put it mildly completely insane. I have so many instances I could site, but here is one tidbit, I have one poor uncle, who decided to rob a bank then went to a local hospital and used the payphone to call and let a local TV station know that he was the bank robber. So completely sad.
So I have decided to change the way I feel about them, instead of being a burden I must over come and a shame that must be lived down, they are now going to be celebrated for all of their insanity.
