I must tell you the coolest thing!
My hubby and his best friend have a side business running sound and playing music for dances, weddings, etc. So today they were in charge of the sound for Union College's Spring Commencement. The college conferred an honorary Doctorate Degree on Jean Ritchie!
So at the President's Dinner after the commencement Jean Ritchie sang and my husband was able to get my high school buddy, author Silas House (who was there playing music with his group) to get her autograph for me!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! If I didn't have fibromyalgia I would be jumping around like an idiot!!!
