- Philly won the World Series and friends I think that sucks!! I don't like them, never have and never will! I grew up as a fan of The Big Red Machine, Johnny Bench and Pete Rose. You will never know how heartbroken I was when Pete was traded from the Reds to the Phillies.
- There was an effigy of Obama found on the University of Kentucky campus today. I want you to go to that link and read about the disgust that is expressed by everyone who saw it. OK so now where is the righteous indignation over the effigy of Sarah Palin? Is it because the Palin effigy was put up by two men who are obviously gay, and they are running around calling it their "Installation Art"? It pisses me off to no end! Free speech my ass!!!!
- I know a couple of people gave me awards for something. Could you hit me in the comments with a link so I know what it was.
- I swear I want to build a bubble to live in. Maybe my freaking sinus' would heal!!
- Please hold a good thought or say a quick prayer for my friends the White family. They had to travel to a city far away to hopefully adopt a baby girl. Please Lord let this one work out. They had already gotten attached to two other babies only to have the birth mother's change their minds and take the children back. This baby is one who was saved from abortion.

EDITED-I just want to say that I have NOTHING against gay people. I have an uncle who is gay and my best friend in the world is gay. I just don't want anyone to misconstrue my above statements.

Amazing that the art of McCain and Palin was plastered all over the news, but I have yet to see the art of Obama on the news. Hmmmmm! Do you think our news is biased?

Anything that encourages hate and violence is WRONG. I don't care who's doing it. I agree with you on this one, it absolutely should not be tolerated. That effigy of Sarah Palin turned my stomach, first of all that they did it in the first place, but also because they would not take it down! How is that not violating the law? They said on the news yesterday that it was not a criminal act because there was no "victim." But it's a form of hate speech, IMO, and that should merit some punitive action.
