Sandwich Generation

Being a part of the Sandwich Generation sucks like a hoover!
I lost my shit today and I'm not happy about it.
I was horrible to both my mom and my kid.
I'm scared to death that my mom is not going to get well, and the stress of it all just built up today and I screamed at everyone.
I hate myself.

I do that too...it's amazing how I can react out of fear.

We all do this sometimes, especially when stress in our lives is high. I just try not to beat myself up about it too much and do my best to do better the next day.

Thinking of you . . .

Feel better soon, Heather. We've all done it before.

Don't hate yourself when things are some times beyond your control, I blame it on my hormones... and I understand the stress of it all...

((hugs))

Oh I was going to tag you, but not sure if you were up too it... and I have a hard time leaving you comments, I tried yesterday and your page gets locked... not sure if it is my computer but I thought I would let you know....

Absolutely are you not allowed to beat yourself up about this. First, just take that step back, which you've already done. Apologize and explain why you reacted the way you did. And finally? Get some time to yourself. That's essential.

Sending much love your way.

It's not easy when you're in that spot. It's really hard to deal with your parents on that level.

I flip my lid constantly and I can't even blame the sandwich generation.
