Please go vote.
I am so glad the campaign is over.
This weekend my phone rang constantly because the democrats are really pushing to defeat our Senator Mitch McConnell.
The recordings were from Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, former governor Martha Layne Collins, actress Ashley Judd, and the candidate himself.
Even if I were inclined to vote for Bruce Lunsford(which I'm not-he runs for everything-wins nothing!), I would really have been turned off by all of those phone calls. I swear it was all day Saturday and Sunday. If we didn't have elderly relatives out of state, I would have just turned the damn thing off.
Either way I'm just glad it's over!
I pray that the voters will do what is right.

I thought about unplugging the phone last night. That should be included in the NO CALL list!
I've gotten to be an equal-opportunity deleter lately. I've nuked messages off my phone from both parties.
i HATE those phone calls...especially the recorded ones! ARGH!!!
thank the lord it is over...
I've been avoiding my phone like the plague these days. I may have even missed important calls I was supposed to have received, but I don't care. Thank GOD it's all over now.
I've already voted and I'm with you. I'll just be glad when it's over. It's been a long two years.
I get home yesterday to 15 messages all left by every candidate running for office, and then a get a call last night from the Governor reminding me to vote... LORD I'm glad it's almost over.
On this, we can agree. Lord, I am sooo tired of running to catch the phone (so it doesn't wake the baby up from his nap) only to discover that it is NOT EVEN A PERSON ON THE OTHER END. Just a machine. Telling me to vote this way, or that way, or telling me some dirt about some candidate. Or telling me that so-and-so is against such-and-such.
Regardless of who you vote for, there is a light at the end of the tunnel on Nov. 5 - election season is OVER.
