Ice and snow have invaded the Bluegrass.
Thank the Lord that we are able to stay at The American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge, located less than a mile from Central Baptist.
You know, I always thought when you donated money to the ACS that it went for research. I had no idea that they even had a facility like the Hope Lodge. I will tell you that I am so grateful for this facility! It is truly a blessing not to have to drive back and forth to the city.
There are people from like us from Laurel county and also from Powell, Owsley and Pulaski Counties as well as a couple from Matewan, West Virginia.
And the best part of the whole thing is as long as you are undergoing Cancer treatment you and a caregiver can stay free of charge with a doctor's referral.
So that is all that is going on here for now.
The Hope Lodge doesn't have WiFi so I am limited to my blogging and email time.
Love you all and thank you so much for your prayers.
Heather

I thought the same thing about the ACS. Wow that is awesome! It makes me want to donate more. I'll continue praying, and really no thanks necessary.
