PENELOPE UPDATES is the new blog that I have started for my updates about my mom's health.
I did that mainly because I have been told that some of you all are giving her name to your church's prayer teams, and since I don't know everyone who will be praying for her this is a good way for people to find out the current information and keep in touch.
Feel free to pass this site's link along to anyone who will pray for her recovery.
The only thing that I ask is that you leave us a comment with your first name and city location(ex-Heather in London, KY). That's just for my own nosey curiosity.
As far as her status is going, nothing is new. She had a radiation treatment yesterday. Her creatnine levels are still up a little but coming down slowly and when she urinates it looks like pure blood-very creepy. So as long as that is happening she won't be going home. The thought is that her kidneys have a lot of back log to get rid of and as a result of the stents.
So my prayer request now is that the cancer is contained and not spread and that tumor is shrinking by the day and her kidneys and bladder heal.
