Happy Saint Patrick's Day!Since I am of Irish heritage on all sides, I named my son after the Patron Saint of Ireland and it's people. Patrick was a slave and he suffered greatly for his belief in Christ.
This is always a special day for my family, but never more so than today. Today my mother has an appointment with her radiation oncologist to see how the radiation treatments affected her cancer. I am praying for a good result.

I have to admit that as a willful teen, who loved nothing more than a good protest, and who was also Protestant at the time, I would wear orange on St. Patrick's day.
