OK we just heard on TV that Michelle Duggar is expecting number 18. Now the way she structures her household, is that she makes the older children help the younger children, she calls it the "buddy system". Did any one ever think to ask if the older kids if they wanted to do her job and raise the younger ones? All of her kids still live at home too, the oldest being a 20 year old son, I think there is an 18 year old daughter. Don't these kids get to go to college, or are they being forced to stay at home and help her raise the others?
On the one hand these people feel like they are having all of these kids to honor the Lord, and that's all well and good, more power to them.
But on the other hand I just can't help but think that they are crazy. Could they not honor the Lord, by taking in foster kids and maybe adopting them? I just can't see bringing more people into an already overcrowded, over taxed earth. It would be so much better to take care of kids that are already here, that don't know God. But that is just my opinion!

OH MY GOSH SHE'S EXPECTING HER 18TH CHILD.
Listen, as far as I'm concerned, if you can take care of them, pop 'em out as long as you can.
And if I recall correctly, the oldest one is married and expecting too? Or at least getting married.
From what I understand, after her first child (the 20-year-old son) she went back on birth control, got pregnant, and miscarried. They blame it on the birth control and decided after that to go off it and not worry, that if God wants them to have all these kids, then it's His will.
I just worry about her body. It's a wonder she won't be bent over with osteoporosis in two or three years.
This isn't 1852, lady.
