With a vengeance baby!

Well, my husband and I had been trying to conceive for the past few months and when my period was due last Monday and it didn't come, I just knew that I was knocked up.
I even had him bring me a pregnancy test to the hospital when he brought me some clothes last week. So I peed on the stick and it said "not pregnant".
I was seriously disappointed, but you know, everything in the Lord's time.
You know I was so sick when I was pregnant with my Paddycake, I suffered with Hyperemesis gravidarum. It was so horrible, once the doctors were able to get the vomiting under control with Zofran, I had to eat small meals every few hours. If I got hungry and didn't eat the vomiting would begin. My wonderful mother took care of me the entire time. She cooked for me everyday. My Paddycake and I would not be here without her. So the Lord knowing that my mom needed me said "not so fast."
So now it is my turn to take of her and I will gladly.
But just so you know, "Aunt Flo" showed up at 5:00 AM this morning, eight days late-with a vengeance baby!

Your mom is just getting rested up so she'll be ready when you really do need her for that!

I know it's a disappointment even though things probably aren't in place for a new baby right now. You're very right: in the Lord's time.

I'm keeping your Mom in my prayers (even if they are relatively unofficial).

Awe, boo. I understand the disappointment that comes with those tests. How wonderful your mother to take care of you. You're lucky to have her.
