11:55 Sunday update

Right now I am so angry I really want to kick the nephrologist in the "family jewels" as hard as I possibly could and maybe strangle the crap out of him too.
Back story-Penelope has renal insufficiency, heart disease and the cervical cancer. Right now she is in the CCU fighting the UTI's, the kidney infections and the fluid build up from being off her Lasix. The first treating nephrologist was on duty last weekend so this weekend his partner, came to treat her.
OK- now it's on her chart is that she has cervical cancer.
This meat head who treated her this weekend and gave her a shot of Procrit. Go ahead and follow that link-scroll down to the big warning about use in cervical cancer patients. That's what known as an FDA Black Box warning kids.
I have already talked to the nurse about it and she double checked to make sure mom's chart has the cervical cancer diagnosis on it. She told me that she would be sure to tell mom's primary doctor when he comes at 6AM. I can't be here because I have to go home so my husband can go to work.
People if you pray, please pray that she is healed of this cancer and that her kidneys are healed as well. I ask not for myself, but for my Paddycake-I know exactly the pain of losing a grandparent at that young age and it's awful. My heart breaks to think of him hurting like I did when we lost my mom's mother when I was six.
