3 AM Phone calls are never good!

Well not exactly 3AM, more like 2:51 AM, but none the less it jolted me out of bed like a rocket.When I saw the caller ID from Baptist Medical center, I nearly died. It was mom's night nurse telling me that they had to move her to the CCU. She had been having trouble breathing yesterday with intermittent episodes of rapid heartbeat. The cause is they have taken her off of her Lasix because of her kidney failure. Her heart is in good shape but she is having fluid build up in the lungs. Her kidney failure levels are in the 2.6 range, which means that only 30% of her kidneys are functioning, so she's not severe enough for dialysis. The Lasix is very hard on her kidneys as are all diuretics so she can't have them. The Lasix would relieve the fluid in the lungs which is causing the rapid heartbeat. So if you can pray for her kidneys to be healed, it sure would help.
