We just got back from Lexington. I spoke to the doctor after the MRI and he said the preliminary report showed it to be a small spina bifida covered by a small cyst(don't understand why spina bifida-I took my vitamins from beginning).
He also said that the spina bifida was better than the sacrolcoccygeal teratoma.
However, the baby could still be mildly retarded, have hip displasia, may or may not walk and bladder and bowel incontinence.
ALL of those I can deal with, BUT from what I know about spina bifida, people who have it are in CONSTANT, and UNENDING AGONY.
I just keep asking the Lord to heal this child because I can not cope with her being in pain.
They will have the final report on Monday. Thank you so much for your prayers, please just keep praying.
God Bless.

Ps-Mom(Penny) had a urologist appointment this morning and she has a severe kidney infection. She has to go back in three weeks to see about scheduling her kidney stent replacement. Her oncologist said everything was still looking good and wants to see her back in three months. So please just keep praying that the cancer doesn't spread.

Sending you love, light and prayers.
You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
Been praying. God is bigger, BIGGER!!
Praying again. May God also strengthen you.
OK. Here's the thing. Two of my best friends (they are sisters, one is my sorority sister) both have spina bifida and they don't have constant pain. Christian has some difficulty managing stairs if there are no handrails, but other than that, they live active, normal lives.
I'm so behind in reading posts and am just picking up here, but I'm thinking of you and your sweet baby. It's all going to be OK. I have faith.
Love you, hon.
Wow, I can't imagine. Definitely praying! A friend of mine had a son with Spina Bifida. I don't know much about it, but he did have a pretty normal life and none of us knew it until she mentioned it. Have you seen this site? http://www.benotafraid.net/ I hope you find hope and encouragement!
Gosh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realise that a lot of people with spina bifida had unending pain, but I'm sending my prayers that this isn't the case with your sweet little girl!
Good thoughts to your Mom, too!
Hey, I saw your comment on the More the Messier and had to link you to this blog:

This family has adorable identical triplet toddler girls. One of them has spina bifida. Read their posts for yourself and I think you'll be greatly encouraged. The girl with spina bifida is Anna, and you'll see how she keeps up with her sisters. I don't think anyone could guess which one of the three had spina bifida, just from watching them play.
Wishing you the best.
