We've had a good night, she was able to sleep and her heart rates were good and under control. Her body temp is back to normal.
Some of her blood levels were concerning the doctors that she may have had an ischemic bowel attack. They did a CT scan last night and everything looked good in her abdomen. However her internist told me this morning that she did not have a mild heart attack but a major one, in addition to the severe urinary infection.
The low body temperature from yesterday was a reaction to the infection, and she could have gone into sepsis. Hopefully that is now under control, as her white count is coming down. She had a small amount of bleeding yesterday, but the gynecologist that came in to check her did not find any more blood and thought that something may have been nicked when they inserted the catheter to cause the bleeding. Because of the bleeding they did not give her any more blood thinners than what she had already had in the ER. This was of such concern to the cardiologist, that he told me she may not make it.
I know that you are praying for her, otherwise we would not have had such a good night, and positive turn around. The Lord is working here, I can feel it.
The first 24 hours are the most critical for a heart-attack patient and we should hit that mark about 10:30 this morning.
Please keep praying that she continues to improve.
God Bless,
Heather

This grumpy old blogger is praying for your daughter and you and the rest of your family. It's tough enough to go through what you are going through but having it happen at Christmas has to be even harder.
Hang in there and trust in the Lord.
God's will will be done...
