Well, I just watched There Will Be Blood. Let's just say I got the message, Hollywood Liberals, "Oil is evil!"
Message received. I really don't believe that movie would have been so well received if everyone in Hollywood wasn't suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome.
I really didn't enjoy it at all! I mean there is so much scenery chewing, and emoting--give me a break! There really just wasn't that much to the story for me. Daniel Plainview lies, cheats, steals and kills all in pursuit of oil and money. So what! Show me an oil man who doesn't.
I grew up on the actions of JR Ewing and Cliff Barnes, so to me Daniel Plainview was just PLAIN BORING!! DALLAS was SO much better!!!
AnyHOO, that's three hours of my life I won't get back.

Um, yeah. That's why I didn't watch this. I'd rather do an all-13-seasons marathon of Dallas changing out the adult diapers as I go rather than spend three hours on this movie. Thanks for your point of view!
