Another prayer request

Could you all please pray for my online pal Leah?
She had to have a valve replacement and is having some difficulty in recovery.
Also Mish is still having difficulties with her bone marrow transplant.
My mom starts her radiation today. It is super cold here and I hate to even have to leave the house, but it must be done. Pray we have a safe trip.
Thank you so much!
Love & Hugs,
Heather

Prayer Requests

Mish Weiss
Tuesday blogger Mish Weiss is having a bone marrow transplant. She's been having a rough time and really could use your prayers.
Leah Friedman
Leah of Leah Meter Maid has ongoing heart problems. After surgery on the 28th they had trouble waking her, she will be in the hospital for another few days.
The Nielson Family
Blogger Stephanie Nielson and her husband Christian were injured in a small private plane crash in Arizona. Both were horribly burned, and will require months of recovery. So please pray for their speedy recovery. Also pray for their four wonderful babies. They are so sweet and precious and they have to missing their mom and dad something awful.

Update-Kenya School

So I have been over at Baldilocks site reading about the Obama School.

Juliette is working very hard in setting up the 501c3 foundation for the Obama School in Kenya.
So far donations have reached $2200.

The school only needs $129,220 and it is for the most basic of items like a well, and electricity. When I think of the money my own school system here in KY wastes per year, it really blows the mind.

Anything anyone can give will certainly be appreciated.

I noticed that Michelle Malkin had linked to Baldilock's site. I am so thrilled that she is getting some big-time publicity for this school. Hopefully there will be some big time traffic from Michelle's site with lots and lots of donors.

Please go give anything you can. I was able to give a small amount, but if everyone gives even $5, $10, or $20 dollars it will add up. Do it now!!

Help a school in Kenya

Steve over at Hog On Ice has a project for us all.
Baldilocks is an American. Her dad is a Kenyan immigrant. In fact, she belongs to the same tribe as Barak Obama.
So Baldi has decided to commit herself and us in the blog-o-sphere to help. I really think it is the least we can do. Go here and read about the school. They really don't need that much money, all things considered.
