Well the Grim Reaper was super busy last week and this weekend.
All I'm going to say about Michael Jackson is, I find it terribly sad that he was exploited as a child and then in turn grew up to sexually exploit children. The man had a horrible life even if he did get his wish of being the most famous man on earth. At least his suffering is over and he can't harm any more children.
Since his death the media keeps reporting how his records have sold and MJ is probably going to be worth more dead than alive. I really can't help but think of poor Elvis.
When Elvis died he had only about $100,000 or so in the bank and quite a bit of debt. Fortunately his father Vernon asked former daughter in law Priscilla to take a hand in helping to organize the estate so that Lisa Marie would have something to inherit. Say what you want about her, but Priscilla found some really qualified people and helped to build Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises into a really successful business.
I would hope that who ever is the administrator of MJ's estate, will find a good team to take care of his holdings, but I doubt it. He supported his entire family, not to mention a whole cadre of lawyers and who knows who else-bunch of leeches. Like I said-it's just sad.
I won't tell you how I had a Michael Jackson jacket in seventh grade. I wish I still had it, they are selling for quite a bit on ebay now.
We were really saddened by the death of Farrah Fawcett, she was always so beautiful. We really wanted her to beat cancer. Watching her documentary on NBC the other night, they showed Farrah after her hair started falling out. My mom came to tears and said well if Farrah can live with out her hair, so can I. That was something that had worried her ever since her own cancer diagnosis.
Right now we are watching the WGN tribute to Farrah, her episodes of Charlie's Angels. Remember the furor over that show when it was popular? How the world was going to HE$$ because of the jiggling T & A. As I sit here watching it, it seems POSITIVELY WHOLESOME!
So I turned on the computer this afternoon and see that BILLYMAYS has died!!
Dudes how are we going to live without BILLYMAYS screaming at us to buy Orange Glo or OxyClean? Seriously he is the reason my remote control's mute button is nearly worn out!!
So that's it for now. Will try to talk to ya later!

Call your cable company and say I want my MTV!
Are any of you old enough to remember that ad campaign?
When MTV first started, that was the catchy little jingle they used with various singers singing the catch line.
Remember when MTV used to be good and play actual rock music?
If you do then you will love this site. It's like UTube, but better because it's the video's you remember.
I sat and goofed off for an hour with Paddycake showing him Rod Stewart, Georgia Satellites, and Led Zeppelin videos.
Say what you want about the eighty's we did have some good music. I remember on the weekends when I would be home and cleaning or just hanging around we always left MTV on in the background as long as they were playing good stuff.
So I will be playing around on there for a while in order to calm myself and further my son's music education.
Now for your view pleasure Rod the bod!
And here's the divine Robert Palmer in the quintessential 80's rock video. I was so shocked when he died. He was an awesome performer.
Try not to waste too much time and hope you all have a great weekend!
